Michelle Ramlow, VFW Post Commander and Gilbert
Dobbels, Post Quartermaster VFW were on hand to present a check
in the amount of $1,000 for the purchase of softball equipment
to the Central Illinois Riot. The Riot has expanded this year to
three teams: 10u, 12u and 14u. Last year the team only had a 12u
team.
Ramlow also gave an inspiring speech filled with words of
encouragement to the girls as they get ready to start the
softball season.
Last year the VFW also graciously donated $1,000 to the softball
program.
