The Lincoln Tae Kwon Do participated in the Walkers Tea Kwon Do
Tournament of Champions held June 30th at Game Time Gym in
Bloomington. The event was hosted by Master Joe Walker, who
conducted a very well organized tournament with participants from
throughout the United States. It was a very tough competition.
The day went well for the Lincoln competitors, and it was a fun time
spent with a strong group of high-quality competitors from a variety
of Martial Art styles.
Lincoln brought home 11 First place finishes, five 2nd place, and
two 4th place.
Nine Lincoln competitors participated in the Olympic Style Sparring
Competition, resulting in five 1st places and four 2nd places.
Seven competitors participating in Forms Competition resulting in
four 1st places, two 2nd places, and two 4th places in their
respective divisions
Two of the nine competing from Lincoln participated in the Breaking
Competition, and both earned 1st place finishes
