Elkhart dinner lecture to feature
“Brothers Notorious- The Sheltons” with author Taylor Pensoneau

Taylor Pensoneau will be the July 27th
lecture offered by the Elkhart Historical Society at The Wild Hare
Cafe in Elkhart. The doors will open at 4:45 pm and the dinner will
begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
In Brothers Notorious, Mr. Pensoneau gives attendees the story that
traces the Shelton Gang story from its unpretentious beginning in
rural southern Illinois Wayne County to the headline-capturing
violence at the tale's conclusion.

The menu being offered is a choice of crusted breast of chicken topped with a
drizzle of alfredo sauce or roast pork tenderloin with a wine and mushroom
gravy, both being served with herbed mashed potatoes, veggies and roll. Desserts
offered are fruit crisp topped with whipped cream or ice cream topped with
chocolate sauce.
The cost of the evening is includes a donation of $10 to the Elkhart Historical
