Obituary
Betty “Jean” Hutchison, 83, of
Lincoln passed away peacefully in her home the
evening of July 20, 2018. She was the daughter of
Bob and Irene Wells of Broadwell who precede her in
death. Her very loving husband, Shelby K. Hutchison
of Lincoln preceded her in death as well as her
light-hearted brother, Robert “Buck,” whose wife Peg
Wells still resides in Minnesota.
Throughout her life, Jean took pride in serving a
memorable career as a nurse’s aide at ALMH and also
a homemaker, rearing four children whom she leaves
behind. Kenny and Carla Hutchison of Beason, Bonnie
and Steve Kottemann of Lincoln, Dan and Gayle
Hutchison of Lincoln, and Donna Hutchison and fiancé
Randy West of Lincoln. She is also loved by her
grandchildren, Kevin Hutchison of Beason, Brian
Hutchison of Lincoln, Cale and Valerie Cecil of
Lincoln, Eric Hutchison of Minnesota, and Shelby
Kottemann of Michigan as well as her
great-grandchildren.

She will be treasured always for her soft laugh,
strong hugs, heartfelt moments, and joy of the
little things in life.
Jean’s family is honoring her wishes not to hold
visitation or funeral services. They ask for your
prayers and love in this time and appreciate her
long friendships through the years.
