Mary
R. Cooper of rural Lincoln will celebrate her 90th birthday with an
open house at Lincoln Woman's Club on July 29th, 2-4 p.m.
She was born July 24th, 1928 in Paris. She married
Stanley Cooper of Normal February 26th, 1949. He passed away in
1994.

 Her children are Dr. Larry Cooper (Nancy Jo) of
Manassas VA, Nancy (Brian) Wrage of rural Atlanta, Jean (George)
Johnston of Bainbridge Island WA. She has six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
She retired from Mount Pulaski High School in 1988 after 21 years as
English teacher and librarian. She then worked part-time at Lincoln
College Library for 19 years.

Mary is an active member of the Lincoln Woman's Club,
Abraham Lincoln Chapter of NSDAR, Retired Teachers, and 1st United
Methodist Church.
A week-long family reunion was held in June in Branson MO with 21 in
attendance, also marking her birthday.
