							Julia Hoover, 76, of Webster City, 
							Iowa died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Windsor Manor 
							in Webster City. Graveside services were held on 
							Friday, July 20, 2018, at Graceland Cemetery in 
							Webster City with Reverend Craig Blaufuss 
							officiating
 Julia Ann Hoover was born March 6, 1942, in Parkers 
							Landing, PA, the daughter of George and Margaret 
							Hoover. She spent a portion of her youth in Lincoln, 
							attending Lincoln Junior High School and graduating 
							with the Class of 1960 from Lincoln Community High 
							School.
 
 She received her Master's degree from the University 
							of Illinois and her Ph.D. from the University of 
							Iowa. She was a teacher in the Chicago Public School 
							system. Julia taught one year in Kuwait and one in 
							Scotland. When she returned to Chicago, she taught 
							English to Russian Jewish immigrants.
 
 After obtaining her nursing degree, she worked as a 
							nurse for eight years in Chicago hospitals.
 
 Julia then received her Real Estate license and 
							started her own business, Hoover Realty, where she 
							sold commercial real estate. She retired in 2005.
 
 Julia is survived by her cousins, Nancy Rineheimer 
							of Webster City IA, Jon (Sue) Doolittle of Webster 
							City IA, Deb Kohl of Blairsburg IA, Kay Tirk of 
							Pennsylvania and her close friends - the Kravtsov 
							family of Chicago.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents, her 
							brother Albert Hoover and her beloved pets, Mr. 
							Wagner and Shayna.
