			"Becky" Thornton, 67, of Lincoln passed away on Sunday, July 22, 
			2018 at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. |

							Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family 
							Catholic Church

							Obituary 
							Rebecca J. "Becky" Thornton, 67, of 
							Lincoln passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the 
							Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 
							July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic 
							Church with Rev. Jeffrey G. Laible officiating.
 
 Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26 from 
							5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral 
							Home.
 
 Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later 
							date.
 
 Rebecca Jean Masterson was born on April 18, 1951 in 
							Lincoln the daughter of Theron and Mary Eileen Bart 
							Masterson. She was united in marriage to Michael 
							Stephen Thornton on June 1, 1974. He survives.
 
							Also surviving are one son: Stephen 
							Robert Thornton, one daughter: Mary Katherine 
							Thornton. one sister: Kathleen (Virgil) Lowe, two 
							brothers: Jerry Masterson, Larry (Judy) Masterson. | 
                
                 
            She was preceded in death by her parents, two 
			brothers: Jim Masterson, Robert Masterson.
 Becky graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1969. She 
			retired from Lincoln Community High School as assistant Librarian 
			after 47 years of service. She was the 2017 Grand Marshall for the 
			Homecoming Parade.
 
 Her hobbies included reading and traveling.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation or American 
			Legion Post #263 Baseball.
