Obituary
Barbara J. Farmer, 86, of McLean,
passed away at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at
Heritage Health in Bloomington.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Farmer will be held
Monday, July 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the McLean
Cemetery. Rev. Don Doty will officiate.
Barbara Jean Beyer was born August 15, 1931, in
Bloomington, the daughter of Paul and Louise Zilich
Beyer. She married Billy J. Farmer on June 16, 1949.
He preceded her in death Sept. 28, 2005.
Barbara is survived by five grandchildren: Angela
Richardson, Douglas Dodson, Deena Dodson, Eric
Dodson, and Billy Jean Smith; several
great-grandchildren; and dear friends Courtney and
Troy Robb and their children, Logan and Rylee Robb. |
Barbara was preceded in death by her two children:
Kathy Farmer and Nancy Barbour, and one grandson, Larry Smith.
She had worked at Cutler-Hammer in Lincoln. She was an avid Cubs fan
and loved to cross stitch.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Fire and Rescue.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of
Atlanta.
