On Saturday, May 19, the Atlanta Public Library held a Spring Block
Party sponsored by Mattingly Automotive to support their public
programming. Library Director Cathy Maciariello said the all-day
event raised money for several programs the library offers
throughout the year.
Activities included a bake sale, a silent auction, bounce houses,
and free face painting by the Zoo Lady.
In the evening, there was a fried chicken dinner, music, and dancing
at nearby Union Hall.
Olympia National Honor Society members assisting with activities
were Olivia Davis, Lenea Kerr-Dennhardt, Cavitt Schempp, Emily
Hunter, and Emma Kindred.
