recycling day in Mount Pulaski June 2nd

The Hilltop Club will be sponsoring a
recycling day in Mount Pulaski on Saturday June 2nd from 9 a.m. to
noon. Items may be dropped off at the Mount Pulaski Township Shed,
404 South Spring Street.
If you have items that need to be picked up that may be arranged for
a donation and by calling in advance. Contact Brian Beecraft at
217-737-3812 or Matt Bobell at 217-737-6387.
The following items may be disposed of free of charge:
Desktop, Laptop, and Tablet Computers
LCD Monitors
Printers (for large, office printers please contact the store)
Computer Peripherals (keyboards, mice, etc.)
Satellite and Cable Equipment
Projectors
VCRs - DVD Players
Video Game Consoles
Radios
Speakers
Cellular/Mobile Phones - Smart Phones - Telephones (including PBX
equipment)
Toner
Networking Equipment and Cables
Mailroom Equipment
Point of Sale Equipment
Pagers
Cameras - Camcorders
Power Tools (including batteries)

Battery Backups and Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS)

The following items may be disposed of for a fee:
CRT and LCD/LED TVs - $20 each
CRT monitor - $10 each
Non-LCD/Plasma Televisions or Monitors, Projection TVs, console TVs
- $40 each
* Per State Regulation,
you are entitled to a voucher for any money paid to drop off
recycling. Voucher may be used at BLH Springfield location.
The following items will NOT be accepted:
Microwaves, toasters, and other small kitchen appliances
Bathroom devices (ie. electric razors, toothbrushes, etc.)
Refrigerators, stoves, and other large appliances
Gas Powered Tools
Glass, Christmas Light Bulbs, etc.
Broken TVs (broken glass or otherwise dismantled)
Mercury Thermometers
Thermostats
Air conditioning units
Aerosal cans
Lamps/Light bulbs
Lava Lamps
Vacuum and floor cleaners
Pressurized canisters of any kind
Toys
Live ammunition
General rubbish
Needles of any sort
Audio and Video Cassettes

This recycling event is being provided through BLH of Springfield. If you have
questions regarding items that are acceptable please call the store at
217-585-1580. Store hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and
Saturday’s 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
