Obituary
Gary Dean Denton, 63, of Chestnut
passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in his home.
Gary was born on March 11, 1955 in Taylorville, the
son of Marshall K. and Janice L. (Brockette) Denton.
Gary is survived by his sister, Jill (Larry) Gabriel
of Mount Pulaski; his great-nephew, Trea Masset of
Farmer City; his great-great-niece, Cambrey Masset
of Farmer City; special family members, Matt, Lisa,
and Haley Wilham of Kenny; and his cousins, Royalene
Michael and Coleen Kennedy of Coto Paxi, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
grandparents, aunts and uncles, and nephew, Kenneth
Masset.

Gary loved sports and playing pool.
He was a retired truck driver, most of the time with
TNT Holland Trucking. He was a member of The First
Baptist Church in Taylorville, he graduated from
Taylorville High School.
Gary’s wishes were to be cremated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
