After they were established in the community, at
the six year anniversary, the building underwent a facelift,
bringing the facility into modern day time. Now 30 years after
coming to town, the Center has once again undergone a new facelift,
bringing the banking and membership services into the current times
with improvements inside the building that include easier access to
online membership services inside the building, and changes to
teller stations that assure greater privacy for members as they
conduct business inside the bank.
On Friday the day began at 8:30 a.m. with members and the community
invited to come inside the center for a look at all the upgrades.
They were also treated to breakfast style snacks such as sweet rolls
and Danish, fresh fruit, and coffee, juice, and bottled water.
At 9 a.m. a group consisting of CEFCU staff, the Chief Operating
Officer Matt Mamer and CEFCU Chairman of the Board Todd Gwillim, and
members of the Lincoln Community including Mayor Seth Goodman, Ward
4 Alderman Rick Hoefle, City Clerk Peggy Bateman, Morgan Gleason of
the Logan County Tourism Bureau, Marcia Cook, Jennifer Kirby, Karen
Hargis, and Roy Logan assembled outside for a ribbon cutting
ceremony. During the opening comments it was
noted that CEFCU has made a significant investment in the community
and its members, but that it is a circular motion because as they
invest in the community, the community is investing in CEFCU and in
friends, family and neighbors via the dollars passing through the
credit union. It was also noted that CEFCU is a major supporter and
sponsor of many local events.
Chief Operating Officer Matt Mamer began with
thanking the members of the local government and members of the
community on hand. He acknowledged staff members present and
introduced each one.

He said that on the 30 year anniversary of the Lincoln Branch, CEFCU
was very proud to be a part of the community and is looking forward
to many years to come. He said CEFCU is proud to offer an updated
member center, and the company is always looking for ways to improve
the membership experience with CEFCU.
He concluded saying that CEFCU is very pleased to
have been so well supported by members of the community, and they
look forward to a continued good relationship with the citizens of
Lincoln and Lincoln County.
Mamer then turned the program over to the Chairman of
the CEFCU Board of Directors Todd Gwillim who echoed what Mamer's
appreciation to the community and he named many of the local events
and organizations that CEFCU does support through sponsorship.
Mayor Seth Goodman was the closer for the event, offering up
congratulations to the CEFCU team for their new and improved
facility and also expressing appreciation to CEFCU and its
membership for the continued community involvement and support.
With speeches concluded it was time for a ribbon cut. After the cut
everyone was invited to return to the lobby area to visit with CEFCU
staff and enjoy the large array of refreshments.
