[June 04, 2018]   The Summer Season 2018 is finally here for Lincoln Community Theatre and three different events will keep the children and adults of Logan County laughing, singing along and tapping their toes.

The first production of the summer is George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s comedy “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” directed by Phil Funkenbusch, will run one weekend only June 21-24. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday closing matinee will begin at 2 p.m. Performances will be at the Johnston Center for the Performing Arts at the Lincoln College campus. Tickets range in price from $5-15 and are on sale at the LCT website at www.lincoln communitytheatre.org.

The Youth Theatre Workshop will be held for students entering grades 2nd through 9th in fall 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ from June 25-29. The morning session of grades 2-4 has a waitlist and only a few spot of the 5-9th grades remain. If interested, please register quickly.

Those participants will attend camp Monday through Friday and then perform at Friday evening, June 29, at 6:30 p.m at St. John United Church of Christ. Additionally, they will perform at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. June 30th at the ALMH Market Day held at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
