The first production of the summer is George S. Kaufman and Moss
Hart’s comedy “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” directed by Phil
Funkenbusch, will run one weekend only June 21-24. Thursday,
Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 p.m. and the
Sunday closing matinee will begin at 2 p.m. Performances will be
at the Johnston Center for the Performing Arts at the Lincoln
College campus. Tickets range in price from $5-15 and are on
sale at the LCT website at

The Youth Theatre Workshop will be held for students entering
grades 2nd through 9th in fall 2018 at St. John United Church of
Christ from June 25-29. The morning session of grades 2-4 has a
waitlist and only a few spot of the 5-9th grades remain. If
interested, please register quickly.
Those participants will attend camp Monday through Friday and
then perform at Friday evening, June 29, at 6:30 p.m at St. John
United Church of Christ. Additionally, they will perform at 10
a.m. and 11 a.m. June 30th at the ALMH Market Day held at the
Logan County Fairgrounds.

Board members from LCT will be at the ALMH Market Day on June 9 to sell advance
tickets to both summer shows. If any spots are available for the Youth Theatre
Workshop, they can take in person registrations for those as well.
Working, A Musical, based on the book by Studs Terkel, will be directed by Dan
“Mac” McLaughlin and will run two weekends at the end of July. Friday and
Saturday, July 20-21 and July 27-28 will see performances at 7:30 p.m. and
matinees on July 22 and 29 will be at 2 p.m. Performers will sing selected songs
from the musical at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on July 21st at the ALMH Market Day, and
tickets will be for sale in person as well.
