 A “Big Kids Toys Event” will feature approximately
20+ unique and exciting vehicles in which people will be able to
take rides or in which they can have their photo taken. Vehicles
include: fire truck, police car, road grader, jeep, Rolls Royce,
rescue vehicle, Gator, farm machinery, VW Bug, 1940 Plymouth, Camero,
semi truck, scooter, street sweeper, VW convertible, etc. There will
also be a drone demonstration on site.
The Big Kids Toys Event will be held in downtown Atlanta. Vehicles
available for rides will be parked on Race Street in front of the
Atlanta Library. The road grader, farm machinery, stock car, etc.
will be positioned in the parking lot just west of the Library.
These vehicles will be available for photos only, not rides.
Ride tickets will cost $10 for 8 rides or $2 per
individual ride. A rider can use a ticket to ride any eight rides
he/she wishes. A ride ticket is not necessary for those vehicles in
which photos, but not rides, may be taken.

In addition to the fun rides and photo opportunities, free
balloon animals will be available, and facepainting will be offered [1 ticket
per child]. The Palms Grill Café will also do a sidewalk cookout.
Bring the whole family for this special day of fun for kids and grown-ups alike.
Proceeds from the day’s activities will be used to help underwrite the
restoration of the J.P. Hieronymus Carriage House attraction and other projects
of the Atlanta Betterment Fund.
