Obituary
Cleta R. Grubbs, 92, of Bloomington,
formerly of McLean passed away on Monday, June 18,
2018 at Unity Point- Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday,
June 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the
McLean Christian Church.
Burial will be at a later date at the McLean
Cemetery.
Cleta Rudelle Snow was born on March 19, 1926 in
McLean the daughter of Fred and Irene Hickman Snow.
She was united in marriage to William Arthur Grubbs
Sr. on July 16, 1943. He preceded her in death on
June 28, 1996.
Surviving Cleta are her son: Jeff
Grubbs of Bloomington, one daughter: Debbie (Doug)
Peck of Wentzville, Mo., one brother: Donald (Rose)
Snow of Bloomington, Six grandchildren: Annette
(Doug) Williams, Julie (Dan) Evans, Chris Peck,
Christy Peck, Ethan Peck, Ashton Peck. Six great
grandchildren: Jordan, Lauren, Lexi Evans, Braden,
Lydia, Larissa Williams. |
She was preceded in death by her husband, son: William Arthur Grubbs
Jr., daughter: Bonnie Thompson, Four brothers: Freddie Snow, Kenneth
Snow, Bobby Snow, Russell Snow.
Cleta was a member of the Church of God in McLean.
Memorials may made to her family to assist with funeral
arrangements.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
