KIDS WORSHIP—February 2018
Off Road — Conflict
Conflict! Into all of our lives there comes some
conflict at one time or another. During the month of February,
during Kids Worship, we will discover that some pretty great people
in the Bible encountered moments of conflict as well. We will see
how they made an impact on others when they chose to approach
conflict with appropriate responses. Make sure to join us as we find
out how we can respond when we encounter conflict today. Our key
verse for February is: “We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help
and our shield” (Psalm 33:20). Moms and dads, below are the texts we
will be learning from each week.
• Jesus Clears the Temple. John 2:13–17. We do the right thing when
other people disrespect God.
• Enemies Threaten Nehemiah. Nehemiah 4:1–9. We pray when people are
mean.
• God Gives Joshua Courage. Joshua 1:1–9. We ask God for strength
and courage.
• Esau Forgives Jacob. Genesis 32:9–12; 33:1–4. We seek forgiveness
with God’s help.
