Obituary
D. Gene Fisher, 89, of Waynesville
passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the
Hopedale Nursing Home in Hopedale.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday,
February 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen
Cemetery in Waynesville with Mr. Dave Taylor
officiating.
Delmar Gene Fisher was born on June 24, 1928
Waynesville the son of Martin D. and Olive L. Eckert
Fisher. He was united in marriage to Ellen Colene
Rich on March 7, 1970. She preceded him in death on
February 19, 2001.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate
family. He is survived by his caregiver : Lori
Kistner and several nieces and nephews. |
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother
and one sister.
He retired from Caterpillar in Decatur in 1988.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of the donor's choice.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
