It’s been a grinding season and these three
young men have now earned their way to the big dance, states
coach Dawson.
Tony Gandollfi lost 3-0 to Curry from Bloomington,
Hayden Gellner lost 7-6 to Albaugh of Champaign in sudden death
overtime and Niccolas Sundeen won his 3rd place match 9-2 over
Harms of Mahomet.
Moving on for the Trojans with 2nd places finishes are
155lb Tony Gandolfi
167lb Hayden Gellner.
3rd place finisher is
185lb Niccolas Sundeen.
Top three sectional place winners all qualify for the state
series.
