Jordan Sanchez named February Senior of the Month at Mouth Pulaski High School

 

[March 05, 2018]  MOUNT PULASKI  - Jordan Sanchez, son of Robert and Renae Sanchez of Elkhart, has been named February Senior of the month at Mount Pulaski High School. He was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Jordan has been actively involved in many different organizations at MPHS. He has been a member of Drama Club and Band for 4 years, Student Council for 3 years, WYSE for 2 years, and Scholastic Bowl for 1 year. He served as Junior class Vice President and currently serving as Senior class Secretary.

Jordan received a congressional nomination to the United States Air Force Academy and has been named and Illinois State Scholar.

Jordan plans on attending the United States Air Force Academy and go to pilot training or join the United States Marine Corps.

The Senior of the Month program is sponsored by Johnson True Value Hardware and Conaway Handyman Service. Monthly award winners receive a $100 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
