Obituary
Inis Birdwell, 95, of Lincoln,
passed away February 26, 2018 at The Christian
Village.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday,
March 2, 2018 at Steenbergen Cemetery.
Inis was born December 9, 1922 in Thompsonville, KY.
to the late James M England and Ida Belle (Jenkins).
She married Clyde Birdwell on May 13, 1939. He
preceded her in death on March 1, 1991.
She was formerly employed as a dishwasher at
Heritage Inn and worked as a Foster Grandparent for
24 years. She enjoyed Bingo, church and social
activities at The Christian Village. She was a
member of Jefferson Street Christian Church.

Surviving are her children: Cecil Birdwell, Donald Birdwell,
Joyce Beavers, Jerry Birdwell, and Phillip Birdwell, 18 grandchildren; numerous
great grandchildren and great- great- grandchildren.
She was precede in death by her parents, husband, siblings Tommy England, Joe
England, Jim A England, Ruby Coulter, Anna Taylor, 2 infant siblings, children
Mitchell Birdwell, James Birdwell, Bill Birdwell, grandchildren Billy Dean
Birdwell and Sarah Birdwell and daughter in laws Marilyn Birdwell and Diane
Birdwell.
Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home for
funeral expenses.
