Mount Pulaski defeats Try-City for Sectional 5 volleyball championship

[March 06, 2018]    The Mount Pulaski Honeybears are going to State. It is the volleyball postseason and in Class 2A competition Mount Pulaski and the word "state" just go together. The Honeybears defeated Try-City 25-14 and 25-11 Monday night in the Sectional 5 Championship.

With the win Mount Pulaski punched their ticket to the 7th Grade Class 2A IESA State Tournament.

The Honeybears (20-2) will play the winner of the Sectional 4 on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Pawnee.
