“Rowboat,”
"I do most of my outdoor painting in the morning or evening when the
light is best,” said Evans. Here, the sun is acting like a spotlight
on the water and leaves, making them glow. Can you tell from the
color shading what time of day it is? |

Cyndi and Ron Keller enjoy discussing
art with Dale Evans. Note the portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the
background. Ron Keller is a noted Lincoln scholar whose next book is
about Mr. Lincoln’s four terms in the Illinois legislature. Cyndi is
an artist in her own right. |

“Dome Framework,” done at Miller Park in Bloomington. Notice how the
colors complement one another. |

Kathryn stopped by between classes at Heartland Community College to
enjoy the art. She recently won acclaim at a Heartland art exhibit
at the Normal campus for a painting. |
