Brian Anderson hit a three-run
blast to help the Miami Marlins post a 7-5 victory over the New York
Yankees on Sunday at Jupiter, Fla., on a day in which New York
slugger Aaron Judge hammered his first homer of the spring.
The reigning American League Rookie of the Year went deep off
Marlins right-hander Sandy Alcantara in the seventh inning to
conclude the scoring. Judge slugged 52 homers last season.
Anderson's shot staked Miami to a 5-0 lead in the third inning.
Cameron Maybin also homered for the Marlins.
Didi Gregorius homered and had three RBIs for the Yankees.

Dodgers 13, Rockies 7
Matt Kemp continued his huge spring with a 3-for-3 performance and
his fourth home run, and Yasmani Grandal also went 3-for-3 and had
five RBIs as Los Angeles routed Colorado in Scottsdale, Ariz. German
Marquez gave up eight runs on nine hits in 2 2/3 innings for the
Rockies.
Tigers 6, Braves 3
Miguel Cabrera drove in three runs, Leonys Martin hit an
inside-the-park homer and Victor Martinez recorded his fourth blast
of the spring as Detroit defeated Atlanta at Lakeland, Fla. Dustin
Peterson hit a two-run homer for the Braves.
Angels 4, Rangers 3
Justin Upton hit a three-run homer and Shohei Ohtani had a single in
three at-bats as Los Angeles edged Texas in Tempe, Ariz. Nomar
Mazara hit a solo shot and the ageless Bartolo Colon allowed one
unearned run in four innings for the Rangers.
Reds 6, Mariners 5
Brandon Finnegan got one out before exiting with a lateral forearm
spasm, but Cincinnati scored four runs in the ninth to beat Seattle
in Peoria, Ariz. Ichiro Suzuki went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in
his Cactus League debut for the Mariners.
Cardinals 4, Nationals 3
Right-hander Luke Weaver struck out four in four perfect innings and
Jose Martinez and Paul DeJong each homered as St. Louis defeated
Washington at West Palm Beach, Fla. Matt Reynolds and Chris
Dominguez homered for the Nationals.
Athletics 7, Cubs 2
Matt Chapman, Sean Murphy and Mark Canha each hit home runs as
Oakland slugged its way past Chicago in Mesa, Ariz. Yu Darvish gave
up two runs on four hits and struck out five in 3 1/3 innings, and
Kyle Schwarber and Chris Gimenez each homered in the second for the
Cubs.
Twins 6, Rays 5
Erick Aybar had a two-run single during a five-run second inning as
Minnesota edged Tampa Bay at Port Charlotte, Fla. Kean Wong homered
for the Rays.

Orioles (ss) 7, Red Sox 3
Ryan Mountcastle slugged a three-run homer to help Baltimore beat
Boston at Fort Myers, Fla. Mookie Betts homered for the Red Sox.
Orioles (ss) 4, Phillies 0
Andrew Cashner went four scoreless innings in his Grapefruit League
debut and Caleb Joseph hit a two-run homer as Baltimore shut out
Philadelphia in Sarasota, Fla. Pedro Florimon had two of the
Phillies' four hits.
Pirates 5, Blue Jays 0
Adam Frazier hit a two-run homer and Gregory Polanco drilled a solo
blast as Pittsburgh blanked Toronto at Dunedin, Fla. Blue Jays
right-hander Joe Biagini served up both homers and gave up five runs
in 1 2/3 innings.
Astros 5, Mets 2
Garrett Stubbs homered to help Houston slay New York at Port St.
Lucie, Fla. Yoenis Cespedes went deep for the Mets, while
right-hander Jacob deGrom struck out four and gave up two runs in 2
2/3 innings in his spring debut.
White Sox 6, Diamondbacks 5
Jose Abreu, Yoan Moncada and Eloy Jimenez all hit home runs as
Chicago squeaked past Arizona in Phoenix. The D-backs scored all
their runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by a Jeremy Hazelbaker
two-run double.
Indians (ss) 3, Royals 1
Roberto Perez hit a two-run homer and Brandon Barnes added a solo
shot as Cleveland topped Kansas City in Surprise, Ariz. Humberto
Arteaga drove in the Royals' lone run on an RBI single in the
seventh.
Brewers 5, Indians (ss) 4
First-round draft pick Keston Hiura hit the go-ahead single in a
three-run ninth inning to lead Milwaukee past Cleveland in Goodyear,
Ariz. Carlos Carrasco struck out six in three shutout innings and
Francisco Lindor homered for the Indians.
Giants 5, Padres 4
Hunter Pence hit a first-inning grand slam, and San Francisco held
on to beat San Diego in Scottsdale, Ariz. Wil Myers and Jose Pirela
homered for the Padres.
