A crowd of gallery visitors enjoys the art and treats catered by Flossie & Delzina’s.

“Rowboat,”
"I do most of my outdoor painting in the morning or evening when the light is best,” said Evans. Here, the sun is acting like a spotlight on the water and leaves, making them glow. Can you tell from the color shading what time of day it is?

Cyndi and Ron Keller enjoy discussing art with Dale Evans. Note the portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the background. Ron Keller is a noted Lincoln scholar whose next book is about Mr. Lincoln’s four terms in the Illinois legislature. Cyndi is an artist in her own right.

“Dome Framework,” done at Miller Park in Bloomington. Notice how the colors complement one another.

Kathryn stopped by between classes at Heartland Community College to enjoy the art. She recently won acclaim at a Heartland art exhibit at the Normal campus for a painting.

A hammered dulcimer that Dale built is a work of art itself, gleaming wood and unique adornments.
