Kathy Vogt, Registered
Nurse and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, will be teaching the
class that is designed for expectant families. The class will teach
participants how to know when it’s time to come to the hospital,
what to expect during labor and delivery, breathing techniques and
other pain relief options. The class will also touch on newborn
feeding and care. After the classroom portion of the course,
participants will be shown the Family Maternity Suites at ALMH.
“We are pleased to offer these classes to the community and we
encourage expecting mothers and their support partners to attend.
The birth process, even for second time mothers, can be both
overwhelming and joyful.
