[March 19, 2018]  LINCOLN - Eldon V. Dierker, 82, of Lincoln passed away at 7:03 a.m. on March 8, 2018 at his residence.

Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday March 15, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church in Lincoln

Service:  10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church

Obituary

Eldon V. Dierker, 82, of Lincoln passed away at 7:03 a.m. on March 8, 2018 at his residence.

Eldon was born on September 29, 1935, in Lincoln, to Vincent and Florence (Roos) Dierker. He married Patricia Kohl on August 14, 1960 in Bloomington, IL. She survives.

Also surviving Eldon are his children: John V. (Michelle) Dierker of Morton, IL and Ronald L. (Lisa) Dierker of Missouri City, TX.; grandchildren: Adam V. Dierker and Allison Dierker of Morton, IL, Matthew V. Dierker of Palo Alto, CA, and Erin Dierker of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eldon was a lifetime farmer and tax preparer for thirty-three years. He was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Treasurer of East Lincoln Farmers Grain for eleven years, Farm Bureau member, U.S. Army Reserves for eight years and a two term treasurer at Faith Lutheran Church and Sunday School Teacher.

Services for Eldon will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 15, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (9:30-10:30 a.m.) also at the church. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
