Cam Atkinson scored the
game-winning goal with 2:05 remaining in overtime to lead the
Columbus Blue Jackets back from two goals down to beat the Boston
Bruins 5-4 on Monday night in Boston.
Artemi Panarin netted his team-leading 22nd goal and Thomas Vanek
(20 goals), Sonny Milano (12) and Boone Jenner (11) each had a goal
for Columbus. Joonas Korpisalo recorded 34 saves as the Blue Jackets
won their season-high eighth straight game.
Brad Marchand scored his team-leading 31st goal while David Krejci
(17), Riley Nash (15) and Ryan Donato (1) also scored for the
Bruins. Tuukka Rask made 20 saves as the Bruins failed to build off
of Saturday's 3-0 win at Eastern Conference-leading Tampa Bay.
Rick Nash was out for the Bruins with an upper-body injury and is
considered day-to-day.
Kings 4, Wild 3 (OT)
Jeff Carter's second goal of the game at 4:26 of overtime gave Los
Angeles a critical win over host Minnesota.
Carter's eighth tally of the season came on a wrister from the slot
over the blocker of Devan Dubnyk, enabling Los Angeles to start a
four-game road trip with two points. It has 86 points, tying it with
Anaheim for third place in the Pacific Division.
Los Angeles forced overtime with Dustin Brown's 22nd goal at 19:13,
about a minute after it pulled goalie Jonathan Quick for a sixth
attacker. Brown deflected Drew Doughty's wrister from the right
point into the top right corner.
Predators 4, Sabres 0
Pekka Rinne made 35 saves and picked up his league-leading eighth
shutout to lead Nashville past host Buffalo.
Rinne (40-9-4) extended his personal win streak to 11 games. It was
the 51st career shutout for Rinne, who also moved into a tie with
Tampa Bay's Andrei Vasilevskiy for most victories in the NHL this
season.

Nashville extended its franchise record for consecutive road
contests with a point to 15 games (14-0-1).
Panthers 2, Canadiens 0
Aaron Ekblad and Aleksander Barkov scored as Florida defeated host
Montreal.
Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo, a Montreal native, made 28 saves to
earn his third shutout of the season. He snapped a personal two-game
losing streak and is 7-2-1 in his past 10 contests.
The Panthers have shut out Montreal three straight times this
season, the first time Florida has done that to any team.
Coyotes 5, Flames 2
Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored the 100th goal of his All-Star career to
break a deadlock late in the third period as part of a two-goal game
and goalie Antti Raanta made 42 saves as host Arizona beat Calgary.
With the score tied 2-2, Max Domi fed Ekman-Larsson as they crossed
the blue line. Ekman-Larsson beat Flames goalie Mike Smith with a
wrist shot from the top of the left circle with just 3:41 left in
regulation to the delight of the Gila River Arena crowd.
Ekman-Larsson and Domi (three points) each scored empty-netters in
the final two minutes of the game.
