Vice President of Business Development Kate Arebalo
says, “As a part of our commitment to the Lincoln community,
Generations Healthcare Network is dedicated to enhancing the
experience and amenities for those we care for.”
As they work to enhance the home, plans are in the works for
possible renovations. Arebalo says, “With the help of architects and
project designers, Generations is actively exploring renovation and
design concepts.”
Arebalo says, “In the past two years, Generations has successfully
completed three state-of-the-art renovations and expansion projects
within client facilities. While each project is unique, the
consistent theme is the need to address the changing environment of
rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting, offering those we care
for the privacy and comforts of home, with spacious living quarters
and a state of the art therapy center.”
Generations Healthcare Network has a long history of providing
consultation services. It was established as SIR Management in 1991
and “rebranded” as Generations Healthcare Network in 2015.
Generations Healthcare Network evolved as a brand to better
recognize and to more accurately showcase and promote the respective
network facilities' clinical specialties, home like environments,
and above all their dedication to care.
Arebalo says, “consultative services include clinical services and
standards of nursing practice, staff development and retention,
dietary and physical plant operations, business development, and
financial operations including reimbursement, accounts receivable
collections, billing and payroll.”
Generations Healthcare Network provides consultation services in
approximately 15 locations geographically dispersed throughout
Illinois and Indiana. The client facilities offer a variety of
senior living and specialty care options which include but are not
limited to short term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, ventilator
support, and on-site dialysis, and post-acute care.

The post-acute care is centered on recovery and
rehabilitation with residents receiving individualized, intensive
therapy from occupational and physical therapists. Arebalo says this
intensive therapy is “designed to restore strength, enhance balance
skills, improve physical and cognitive function and promotes
independence in activities or daily living."
Services at the Lincoln facility also include Short-Term Rehab,
Long-Term Rehab, Orthopedic Rehab, Respite Care, Ventilator Care,
Tracheostomy Care, Advanced Wound Care, and Cardiac Rehabilitation,
and these services will continue.
Generations Healthcare Network's tag line reads "Our family taking
care of your family for Generations to come.” Arebelo says, “it is
more than just a tag line - it represents our core belief in family
values and the trust that generations of families have placed in us.
Generations Healthcare Network facilities have successfully adopted
both a clinical and a familial philosophy of care that not only
meets the challenges of the ever evolving and changing senior
specialized healthcare landscape but exceeds them as well.”
The Generations website says, “Generation Healthcare facilities’
uniquely qualified professionals are continually cultivating new
concepts in its unyielding endeavor to achieve quality, safety and
comfort for its currents residents.”
Generations hopes to continue providing quality care to the
residents of the facility. Arebalo says, “We are very excited to
host upcoming events, including a grand reopening, allowing the
community an opportunity to see what Generations is bringing to
Lincoln."
