LINCOLN
- The cast and crew of "Godspell Reimagined" are hard at work
learning the exuberant choreography created by Mario Gurule for
presentations this week at Lincoln Christian University. Godspell
Reimagined will be performed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
evenings at the Earl C. Hargrove Chapel on the campus of LCU.

The show written by John-Michael Tebelak (based on
the books of Matthew and Luke) and music by Stephen Schwartz is a
positive retelling of the parables and teachings of Jesus.
The show celebrates Christian community.
Director Tim Searby fell in love with the new movie musical "The
Greatest Showman" and was captivated with the way PT Barnum was
portrayed as he created a community of the "oddities" he brought
together under the big top.

The talented LCU cast will create many of the interesting
characters as portrayed in the movie. Patrons will enjoy the bearded lady,
clowns, the albino girl, the tattooed boy, dancers and many more. And of course,
Jesus, the main character, will be the master storyteller.
The show runs March 22, 33 & 24 - 7:30 p.m. nightly in the Earl C Hargrove
Chapel auditorium. Tickets may be obtained by calling 217/732-3168. Adults:
