Obituary
Darlene K. McLendon, 75, of
Lincoln, passed away April 13, 2018 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Cremation rites were accorded by Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home. Graveside services will be
held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. at New Union
Cemetery.
Darlene was born December 9, 1942, the daughter of
Harry and Hester (Kirkman) Rohlfs. She married John
McLendon on May 23, 1986. He preceded her in death
on April 27, 2007.
She was a 32 year employee of Lehn and Fink.

Surviving are her daughter Angela White of Lincoln and siblings:
Harry (Emily) Rohlfs of Lincoln, Betty Justus of Moberly, MO., Jewell Schachtele
of Lincoln, Joyce Paige Musick of Lincoln, and Sharon (Vern) Shehorn of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and canine companion Maddie.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
