Obituary
Evelyn L. Johnston, 89, of Lincoln
passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Clara’s
Manor in Lincoln.
Evelyn was born on October 22, 1928 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Theodore and Annette (Sims) Bailey. She
married Cletus L. Johnston on June 27, 1946 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1984.
Evelyn is survived by her sister, Margaret Rogers;
daughter-in-law, Sarah Johnston; two grandchildren,
seven great-grandchildren and one great
great-grandchild.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; her son, Dale Johnston; two brothers, Glenn
and Charles; and her sister, Catherine Phyllis
Allers. |
Graveside services for Evelyn will be
11:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Old Union Cemetery
in Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior to
service also at the graveside. (10:00-11:00a.m.)
Memorials may be made in Evelyn’s name to St.
Clara’s Manor. Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
