Second annual Taste of Beason to be held this weekend

[May 04, 2018]   The Oran Township committee will host the second annual Taste of Beason from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5th at the Beason Firehouse.

The community is planning a big celebration for their 150th anniversary which will happen in 2022. To be prepared, they are holding fundraisers well in advance. Proceeds from the Taste of Beason will become part of the celebration funding.

The event will include five courses.

Appetizers:
Cheesy meatballs
Layered taco dip cups
Cheesy chicken enchilada bites

Soups:
Cauliflower
Pasta Fragoli
Hearty Hamburger

Salads:
Coleslaw
Dorito taco salad
Potato Salad

Entrees:
Golden chicken
Cheesy steak rolls
Casserole of tots

Desserts:
Pecan tassies
Wormy dirt cups
cream puffs

Cornbread with honey from Sasse's Apiary will be provided with each meal.

The fundraiser event is open to the public.
