			LINCOLN — 
			Lois L. Turner, 86, of Lincoln, formerly of Bradenton, FL and 
			Peoria, passed away on January 12, 2018 at Memorial Hospice at 
			Heritage in Springfield. She was born February 24, 1931 in Peoria to 
			William and Dorothy (Benns) Suter. She was married to Harold E. 
			Turner in Peoria.

							Lois L. Turner, 86, of Lincoln, 
							formerly of Bradenton, FL and Peoria, passed away on 
							January 12, 2018 at Memorial Hospice at Heritage in 
							Springfield. She was born February 24, 1931 in 
							Peoria to William and Dorothy (Benns) Suter. She was 
							married to Harold E. Turner in Peoria. 
							 
							Lois is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) 
							Oliver of Lincoln, and son, Michael (Lupe) of 
							Eddyville, KY; nine grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) 
							Oliver, Denver, CO, Jennifer (Loyd) Kirby, Lincoln; 
							Erin (Aaron) Humphreys, Chillicothe; Joelle (Matt) 
							Dickinson, Lake Havasu City, AZ; Joshua Oliver, 
							Lincoln; Jonathon Oliver, Lincoln; Brent (Kim) 
							Burban, Eddyville, KY; Brad (Michelle) Burban, 
							Canton, MI, and Brian (Nicole) Burban, Wrightstown, 
							WI; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great 
							grandchild. She is survived by her sister-in-law 
							Judy Suter, her brother-in-law Lee Turner, one niece 
							and five nephews. Her parents, husband, brother, and 
							a nephew preceded her in death.  
							 
							Lois graduated from Manual High School in Peoria. 
							She retired from Bradley University and also worked 
							at Beall’s in Bradenton. She was a member of Grace 
							United Methodist Church in Peoria. She was a 
							life-long Cardinal fan who loved spending time with 
							her family and friends, playing several different 
							musical instruments, and watching Hallmark movies.
							 
							 
							A memorial service is planned for Saturday, May 5, 
							2018 at 11:30am at Swan Lake Memorial Chapel in 
							Peoria.  
							 
							In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 
							Vonderleith Living Center in Mount Pulaski.   |
