			Burton Sr.,76, of Lincoln, passed away at 5:42 a.m. on Saturday, 
			April 21, 2018, in his home with his loving family by his side.  |

							Obituary 
							Ralph E. Burton Sr.,76, of Lincoln, 
							passed away at 5:42 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 
							2018, in his home with his loving family by his 
							side. 
							 
							Cremation Rites have been accorded. 
							 
							Military Graveside Services will be held at 9:00 
							a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Mt. Olive Cemetery 
							in Chicago. 
							 
							A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at A's 
							Restaurant & Pancake House, 6358 W. Irving Park 
							Road, Chicago. 
							 
							Ralph E. Burton Sr., was born August 22, 1941, in 
							Ethel, West Virginia, Logan County, one of 12 
							children born to David J. Burton and Hazel W. 
							Gee-Burton. He married Rose Mary Randazzo in Chicago 
							on March 13, 1965. She preceded him in death. 
							 
							Ralph is survived by their children: Flora (Shawn) 
							Coleman, Sandra Preker, Rose Burton, Ignazio Burton, 
							John (Missy) Burton, and Christina (Robert) 
							Beltezore; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 
							and one sister: Martha Burton.  | 
							
							 
                
                  
							He was preceded in death by two 
							children: Anthony Burton and Ralph Burton Jr. 
            Ralph served in the U.S. Army as a Heavy Truck 
			Driver. Later, he worked as a local truck driver and manager for 
			Corporate Express. He was a big jokester and had a great sense of 
			humor. He enjoyed playing gin rummy and board games, watching 
			westerns and wrestling on TV, and listening to the music of Johnny 
			Cash. 
			 
			Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the 
			Alzheimer's Association. 
			 
			Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln is assisting the family with 
			arrangements.
