Obituary
Marjorie J. Walker, 92, of Lincoln
passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at The Christian
Village in Lincoln.
Marjorie was born on January 14, 1926 in Dalton
City, the daughter of S. Bruce and Elise J.
(Jackson) Pugh. She married Paul W. Walker on
January 9, 1945 in Vernon. He preceded her in death
on December 22, 1988.
Marjorie is survived by her children: John W.
(Janice) Walker of East Peoria, Emil D. Walker of
Beason, N. Paulette Hart of Lincoln, Jo Anne (Jon)
Pope of Spring, TX; one sister, Wilma M. Hafner of
St. Louis MO; seven grandchildren: Gail Montgomery,
Alison Knee, Christopher Pope, Samantha Toft,
Nicholas Pope, Suzanne Walker-Cortez, Amy Collora,
14 great-grandchildren, and four great
great-grandchildren. |
Marjorie was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, and her two brothers, Robert
and George Dean Pugh.
Services for Marjorie will be held 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Day Macz Funeral Home in
Patoka. Visitation will take place from
5:00-7:00p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will follow the services at Magassi Cemetery
in Patoka.
Memorials may be made in Marjorie’s name to American
Alzheimer’s Association.
