Cooper named May LTEC Student of the Month

LINCOLN
Emma Cooper, daughter of Dave and Bobbi Cooper, was
named May Student of the Month for the Creating Entrepreneurial
Opportunities (CEO) program at the Lincolnland Technical Education
Center.

Emma is
a senior at Lincoln Community High School. Jason Mauhar, instructor,
says that Emma is a stand out student that has a fun personality
with a strong drive to be successful. She has an outgoing nature and
friendly spirit. Emma is involved in school activities, works part
time at Lincoln College and still makes time for her CEO business
“Grind and Shine”. Along with her strong work ethic, she is a team
player, a leader for others, and an example of integrity
It’s exciting to see what Emma’s future holds for her and where her
passion takes her. She has bright future ahead of her.

Emma is an active member in LCHS’s theater department and speech
team and is a member of the Logan County Liftoff Program.
In the Fall Emma will attend U of I Chicago to study business
management.
Emma received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and
honored her at a noon luncheon.
