Obituary
Rev. Kenneth D. Kramer Jr., 63, of
Mount Pulaski passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018
at his residence.
Kenneth was born on June 7, 1954 in Biloxi, MS; the
son of Kenneth D. and Janet Sue (Lewis) Kramer Sr.
He married Norma Burge on March 6, 1981 in
Centralia. She survives him.
Also surviving Kenneth are his sisters: Zola (Jeff)
Pickrell of Evansville, IN and Kerri (David) Horton
of Henderson, KY. He is also survived by five nieces
and six great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents.
Kenneth retired from serving United Church of Christ
Churches. He served eight churches in Illinois, four
in Indiana, and one in Ohio. He was a member of St.
John United Church of Christ of Lincoln. He was most
recently the Moderator of the Western Association of
The Illinois Conference of the United Church of
Christ. |
Services for Kenneth will be at 2:00 p.m.
Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ
with Rev. Tom Norwalk, Rev. Laurie Hill, and Rev. Bruce
Moeller officiating, and also 2:00 p.m. Monday May 21, 2018
at Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, with Rev.
Tom Norwalk, Rev. Stacy Tate, Rev. Bruce Moeller, and Rev.
John Holst officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30
a.m. Friday May 18, 2018 prior to service at church
and 10:00-11:30 a.m. Monday May 21, 2018 prior to
the service. Burial will follow the service Monday
May 21, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in
Centralia.
The family requests absolutely no flowers due to
allergies, memorials may be made to the Eden
Theological Seminary or Hoyleton Youth Family
Services.
