[May 18, 2018]  The Philadelphia Eagles are set to visit the White House on June 5.

The team hasn't formally announced the celebratory visit for its Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots, but multiple Philadelphia media outlets reported it on Thursday. According to Philly.com, White House deputy press secretary Lindsay Waters confirmed the visit.

Defensive end Chris Long and safety Malcolm Jenkins have expressed in recent months that they wouldn't visit the White House due to their opposition of the methods of President Donald Trump. They reiterated their thoughts on Thursday.

--With one victory in the past two seasons, it has been a hard knock life for the Browns.

This summer, it will be a "Hard Knocks" life in Cleveland. The HBO training camp documentary will track the fortunes of head coach Hue Jackson and the Browns in August, the network announced. The series will debut Aug. 7 (10-11:00 p.m. ET/PT).

HBO selected the Browns, who haven't been to the playoffs since 2002, just weeks after Cleveland made its latest attempt to secure a franchise quarterback. The Browns selected Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and will place the Oklahoma product in competition with Tyrod Taylor, who was acquired from the Buffalo Bills this offseason.

--The ex-girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster testified at the Santa Clara (Calif.) Hall of Justice on Thursday that she initially lied to police about Foster hitting her on Feb. 11 and did so in an attempt to "ruin" Foster's career and "end him."

The woman, Elissa Ennis, originally told police Foster hit her in the head eight to 10 times, causing facial bruises and a ruptured eardrum. Ennis has since recanted that statement, and in her testimony Thursday, she said she "lied a lot" to authorities about the incident.

Ennis, testifying against the advice of attorney Stephanie Rickard, said Foster never put his hands on her and that she said he did in an attempt to sue him for money after he broke up with her the morning of Feb. 11. She also admitted to stealing more than $8,000 and two Rolex watches from Foster after their breakup.

--As he gets ready to play for a new contract this season, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has lofty goals in mind.

Prescott, who will make $630,000 in base salary in 2018, is eligible for a contract extension after the upcoming season, and the Cowboys have said they are prepared to spend what it takes to keep the 24-year-old in Dallas. Despite the pressure to play well in order to get a big-money deal, Prescott told reporters Wednesday that he isn't stressed about the situation.

"I want to be the best I can," Prescott said at the Cowboys' Reliant Home Run Derby to benefit the Salvation Army. "I want to be the best quarterback that the Cowboys ever had. So when I go in each and every day, it's just about being the best player I can be. All that stuff comes when you play the game well."

--The Green Bay Packers announced the signings of second-round pick Josh Jackson and third-round choice Oren Burks.

The Packers have now signed all 11 of their 2018 draft picks.

Jackson, a cornerback from Iowa, was selected with the No. 45 overall choice. He tied the school single-season record with eight interceptions in 2017 and returned two for touchdowns. Burks, a linebacker from Vanderbilt, had 82 tackles (7.0 for loss) and one interception last season.
