McCray and Lawrence named first recipients of new Walt Landers Wrestling Scholarship

[May 19, 2018]    The Lincoln Area Wrestling Booster Association recognized the first two recipients of the Walt Landers Wrestling Scholarship. 

The 2018 scholarship recipients are wrestler, Jake McCray and statistician, Jayden Lawrence.  Each student was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.  In addition, their names will be included on a plaque in the LCHS Wrestling room. 

The Lincoln Area Wrestling Booster Association is dedicated to fostering, promoting and encouraging the sport of wrestling among parents, youth, alumni and the Lincoln area community as well as to supervise, sponsor and financially assist a disciplined and competitive wrestling program.

To contribute to the scholarship fund for future recipients, please send a check payable to Lincoln Area Wrestling Booster Association, c/o Amy Bree, Treasurer, 1525 1600^th Ave, Lincoln, IL  62656.
