Obituary
Shirley M. Britt, 84, of Lincoln
passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 in St. Clara’s
Manor, Lincoln.
Shirley was born on September 28, 1933 in Lincoln.
The daughter of Lyle E. and Helen (Trail) Brest. She
married John Charles Britt on June 3, 1956, in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2008.
Shirley is survived by her children, Lyle (Mary)
Britt of Peoria, Lloyd Britt of Florida, John
(Joyce) Britt of Tennessee, two sisters Norma (Bill)
Edwards of Lincoln, Faye (Kenny) Adams of New
Holland, one brother John (Debbie) Brest of
Arkansas.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and
one daughter Rebecca Triplett. |
A graveside service for Shirley will
be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Camp
Butler National Cemetery Springfield.
Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s name to
the donor’s choice.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
