Seventh-grade students at Lincoln Junior High School recently had a week to explore their future career options.

The week kicked off with students completing an interest survey to assess which careers would be most suited to their interests. Students then learned what education would be needed and where to attend to become qualified. They discovered the multiple job options available within a field, searched out the geographical locations where the chosen career would be most prevalent, budgeted their salaries based on the median income of that career, and planned for the occasional unexpected.

The week's activities ended today with a Career Fair that allowed students to learn from people in local careers about their jobs.

A special thanks to these speakers who support the learning of LJHS students.
