THIS WEEK: The longest race of the season at Charlotte is followed by one of the longest tracks on the schedule, "The Tricky Triangle" at Pocono Raceway. With only three turns, each with a different radius and banking, and each straightaway a different length, it's a unique challenge for the 14th of 36 points races this season. ... This will be the 81st race at Pocono, dating back to Richard Petty's win in 1974. ... Kyle Busch dominated last week at Charlotte, and he won at Pocono last July for the first time, so if he stays on a roll, he will be the driver to beat. ... Ryan Blaney won the June race last year, his first career victory. ... Kevin Harvick is coming off his first DNF of the season, and has never won at Pocono, but he leads the series with five victories. ... *Busch leads the points standings with 573, followed by *Joey Logano (506), *Harvick (485), Brad Keselowski (437), *Martin Truex Jr. (430), Kurt Busch (429), Denny Hamlin (429), *Clint Bowyer (421), Kyle Larson (382) and Aric Almirola (376). ... Setting up for the unique track is the most difficult task teams will face, and teams with large Cup operations will have the upper hand in finding the right balance in their Xfinity cars. ... Will Power won the Indy 500 for the first time last week, and he won the Sunday race in 2016 at Detroit. ... Graham Rahal won both races last season. ... A combination of surfaces at Belle Isle presents a difficult challenge to find grip on both concrete and asphalt. ...
