SERIES: Pocono 400 (160 laps, 400 miles around a 2.5-mile,
three-turn triangular oval), Pocono Raceway; Long Pond, Pa.
TV: Sunday, 2 p.m. ET (Green flag approx. 2:18 p.m. ET) -- FS1
(Radio: Motor Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90).
THIS WEEK: The longest race of the season at Charlotte is followed
by one of the longest tracks on the schedule, "The Tricky Triangle"
at Pocono Raceway. With only three turns, each with a different
radius and banking, and each straightaway a different length, it's a
unique challenge for the 14th of 36 points races this season. ...
This will be the 81st race at Pocono, dating back to Richard Petty's
win in 1974. ... Kyle Busch dominated last week at Charlotte, and he
won at Pocono last July for the first time, so if he stays on a
roll, he will be the driver to beat. ... Ryan Blaney won the June
race last year, his first career victory. ... Kevin Harvick is
coming off his first DNF of the season, and has never won at Pocono,
but he leads the series with five victories. ... *Busch leads the
points standings with 573, followed by *Joey Logano (506), *Harvick
(485), Brad Keselowski (437), *Martin Truex Jr. (430), Kurt Busch
(429), Denny Hamlin (429), *Clint Bowyer (421), Kyle Larson (382)
and Aric Almirola (376). ... Daytona 500 winner *Austin Dillon is in
19th (244) and inside the playoff cutoff.

THIS WEEK: The 12th of 33 races on the season is on tap as the
series makes just its third trip to Pocono, visiting once a season
since 2016. ... After two weeks off, Cup Series regular Brad
Keselowski won a wild race at Charlotte last week, and he is the
defending winner at Pocono. ... A full-time Xfinity driver has yet
to win at Pocono. ... Setting up for the unique track is the most
difficult task teams will face, and teams with large Cup operations
will have the upper hand in finding the right balance in their
Xfinity cars. ... Elliott Sadler leads the Xfinity standings with
433 points, followed by *Christopher Bell (395), *Tyler Reddick
(378), Daniel Hemric (376), Cole Custer (371), *Justin Allgaier
(356), Brandon Jones (343), Ryan Truex (316), Matt Tifft (300) and
the suspended **Spencer Gallagher (277).

NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES
THIS WEEK: The Trucks are into the second of two weekends off before
starting back up next week at Texas Motor Speedway as a support race
for the IndyCar Series. ... Johnny Sauter won two weeks ago at
Charlotte after starting on the pole. ... *Sauter leads the Truck
standings (329 points), followed by *Noah Gragson (270), *Brett
Moffitt (264), Ben Rhodes (250), Grant Enfinger (239), Matt Crafton
(237), Stewart Friesen (209), Justin Haley (208), Dalton Sargeant
(193) and Myatt Snider (189). Only eight drivers make the playoffs
in the series.

VERIZON INDYCAR SERIES: CHEVROLET DUAL IN DETROIT (Two races, each
of 70 laps, 164.5 miles around a 2.35-mile temporary street
circuit), Belle Isle Circuit; Detroit.
TV: Saturday and Sunday, 3:30 p.m. ET (approx. green flag 3:40 p.m.
ET) -- ABC (Radio: Advance Auto Parts INDYCAR Radio Network, Sirius

THIS WEEK: With the Indianapolis 500 behind it, the series heads
into its busiest stretch of the schedule, with races on consecutive
days at Belle Isle, followed by five more races over the following
eight weeks. ... The series will have run eight of its 17 races this
season at the conclusion of Sunday's event. ... Will Power won the
Indy 500 for the first time last week, and he won the Sunday race in
2016 at Detroit. ... Graham Rahal won both races last season. ... A
combination of surfaces at Belle Isle presents a difficult challenge
to find grip on both concrete and asphalt. ... Australian Power
leads the standings after his double-points win at Indy with 243
followed by American Alexander Rossi (241). American Josef Newgarden
(233), New Zealand's Scott Dixon (218) and American Ryan Hunter-Reay
(186) round out the top five.

THIS WEEK: The NHRA heads into its busiest stretch of the season,
racing four consecutive weekends beginning with the Jegs Route 66
NHRA Nationals outside Chicago. ... This is the ninth of 24 events
this season. ... Winners two weeks ago at Heartland Motorsports Park
in Kansas were Clay Millican in Top Fuel, Courtney Force in Funny
Car, Deric Kramer in Pro Stock while Pro Stock Motorcycle stayed on
the sidelines. The motorcycles will run this weekend. ... Steve
Torrence (664 points) leads the Top Fuel standings, followed by
Millican (569), Tony Schumacher (539), Doug Kalitta (497) and Leah
