LINCOLN
- Kent Aberle, a Lincoln College alum and international touring
drummer based in Atlanta, Georgia, will perform and conduct a clinic
Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Lincoln College Johnston Center for the
Arts.

Aberle has more than 20 years’ touring experience,
both in the U.S. and internationally, including China, Japan,
Australia and Canada. He has performed on the Conan O’Brien Show,
the Today Show, The Talk, and has performed numerous times at the
Grand Ole Opry as well as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
With a strong belief in the power of rhythm to shape lives, he has
become one of the busiest instructors in Atlanta, while also touring
and conducting drum clinics. He has an online lesson program at

authors “The Weekend Warrior” column for DRUMHEAD Magazine, one of
the top drum magazines in the world.

His ability to be a groove “chameleon” performing all styles of
music, along with his harmonizing backing vocals, has made him one of the
busiest drummers in the U.S. He is currently performing and recording with
Kristian Bush of Sugarland, James Hall (Pleasure Club, Marry My Hope) and a
number of other artists.
The clinic and performance will begin at 4 p.m. in the Lab and
Rehearsal Space – Room 6, of the Johnston Center and members of the public are
invited to attend.
