							Dorothy M. Laatsch , 93, passed away 
							on October 26, 2018 at 5:30 a.m. at St. Johns 
							Hospital.
 She was born on July 31, 1925 in Mount Pulaski, 
							daughter of Theodore and Mildred (Harnish) Wolf. She 
							married Richard “Corky” Laatsch on April 8, 1947. He 
							preceded her in death in 1982.
 
 She is survived by her son: Jeff (Connie) Laatsch 
							and one grandson: Nathan (Stacey) Laatsch. Also 
							surviving are two great granddaughters: Evelyn and 
							Mina Laatsch and one sister: Gertie Leesman of 
							Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
							one brother: Raymond Wolf, and two sisters: Esther 
							Maxheimer and Ella Williams.
 
 Dorothy was a life time member of Zion Lutheran 
							Church in Mount Pulaski.

							She had a full life and many great 
							friends who loved her dearly. She farmed with her 
							husband and worked part time at Stahl’s Furniture. 
							She was a very social person, who loved being with 
							her family and friends. She liked to travel and 
							would do so at the drop of a hat. She was a member 
							of the Mount Pulaski Legion Auxiliary and was a 
							volunteer with the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital 
							Auxiliary.
 Services for Dorothy will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday 
							October 30, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral 
							Home in Mount Pulaski, with Rev. Jonathan Buescher 
							officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to 
							service (10:00-11:00 a.m.). Burial at Steenbergen 
							Cemetery will follow the service.
 
 Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s name to Zion 
							Lutheran Church or School, or the American Legion 
							Auxiliary in Mount Pulaski.
