Cam Fowler scored a hat trick,
including the game-winning goal in overtime, as the Anaheim Ducks
snapped their seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the
visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday night.
Fowler fired in the game-winner from his knees at the bottom of the
right circle just 36 seconds into overtime after Adam Henrique drove
toward the net. It was just the third hat trick by an Anaheim
defenseman in team history.
John Gibson stopped 24 shots for the Ducks. It was Anaheim's first
win since Oct. 17, when the Ducks defeated the New York Islanders.
The seven-game losing streak was just one off the team record set in
October 1996.
Pierre-Luc Dubois scored two goals and Seth Jones had two assists
for Columbus, which lost for the third time in four games. It was
the second multi-goal performance of Dubois' career.

Lightning 4, Senators 3 (OT)
Yanni Gourde scored 14 seconds into overtime as Tampa Bay finished
off its comeback and defeated host Ottawa.
Gourde's sixth goal of the season came shortly after teammate
Brayden Point forced overtime late in regulation.
Point, who assisted on Gourde's goal, scored on a power play with
26.4 seconds left in regulation. The Lightning went on a power play
with 1:40 remaining in regulation after Mikkel Boedker was called
for slashing.

Rangers 3, Sabres 1
Jimmy Vesey scored twice Sunday night for New York, which netted two
goals in the first minute of the second period in a win over
visiting Buffalo.
Neal Pionk and Vesey scored 19 seconds apart in the second period
for the Rangers, who have won three straight.
Conor Sheary scored for the Sabres, who have lost four of five. The
lone win in that stretch was recorded Saturday, when Buffalo scored
its most goals in almost a decade in a 9-2 win over the Ottawa
Senators.
