All brands and sizes of diapers/wipes are welcome,
with larger sizes (size 4-6) encouraged. This is Short’s third year
hosting the diaper drive and hopes to collect more than the 1900
			items donated in 2017.
“The Early Head Start center based programs use thousands of diapers
each year. The agency does their best to supply diapers so that
families can focus on working to pull themselves out of poverty.
Diapers are a large expense therefore donations from local
businesses and the communities we serve have allowed us to use grant
dollars on other classrooms needs such as educational materials and
developmentally appropriate toys, said Head Start Director, Jenifer
			Deweese.
Diapers can be dropped off at
Christine Short’s office located at 515 Broadway Street in Lincoln
during regular business hours. For additional information please
			visit CAPCIL’s website
www.capcil.info  or contact Christine Short’s office at
			217-735-2585.
