The Lincoln College Women’s Basketball team
gave the visiting Judson University Eagles all they could handle
on Tuesday evening, but came up just short at the end of
regulation to lose 57-54.
Lincoln held a one-point advantage at the end of the first half
(26-25), but were outscored 13-to-9 in the third quarter and
trailed by three going into the fourth. The two teams played
evenly in the fourth quarter, each scoring 19 points, which
meant that LC had to settle for a 57-54 loss.
Nautica Preston, a junior guard from Chicago, Illinois, led all
scorers with 23 points in the game. Fellow junior guard Jantia
Clark (Indianapolis, IN) also reached double-digits in scoring
with 11 points.
Next up for Lincoln is another home game. On Thursday evening,
LC will host St. Mary of the Woods College. Game time is 5:30
PM.
