							Nora M. Emmons (Woodard), 93, of 
							Lincoln passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 
							at The Christian Village in Lincoln.
 Nora was born on November 25, 1924 in Lincoln, IL 
							the daughter of James A. and Mary (Wilson) Benedict. 
							She married Vaughn Woodard on July 26, 1940 he 
							preceded her in death on July 24, 1986. Nora later 
							married Earl E. Emmons on October 12, 1991 he 
							preceded her in death on August 18, 2003.
 
 Nora is survived by her children, Richard Paul (Mary 
							Kay) Woodard of Pekin, and Donna Meserole of 
							Lincoln; her grandchildren, Jody (John) Vaughn, Eric 
							(Tammy) Curry, Roger Dean (Jennifer) Stewart, Craig 
							(shelly) Shawgo, Kellee Miller, Michael Miller, Jana 
							(Trent) Bryan; great-grandchildren, Heather Curry, 
							Austin Curry, Madison Shawgo, Gage Shawgo, Ashley 
							Stewart, Michael Stewart, Hunter Stewart, Luke 
							Vaughn, Jack Vaughn, Holley Curry, Noah Scaff, Hope 
							Scaff, , Ama (Jeremy) LaCroix, Justin Miller and 
							Kate Bryan; great-great-grandchildren, Kenley Schaub, 
							Ryan Wyles, Alex LaCroix, Westen LaCroix, Regan 
							Miller, and Silas Miller; and one step 
							great-great-grandson, Derek Bryan.

							Nora was preceded in death by her two 
							husbands; her daughter, Anita Miller; 17 brothers 
							and sisters, four grandchildren, and one 
							great-great-grandchild.
 Services for Nora will take place at 11:00 a.m. on 
							Monday, November 5, 2018 at Faith Assembly of God in 
							Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior 
							to the service, also at the church. Burial will 
							follow the services at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
 
 Memorial donations may be made in Nora’s name to The 
							Alzheimer’s Association, The National Breast Cancer 
							Foundation, or Faith Assembly of God.
 
							Services have been entrusted to 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
