			 Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital provides a free education group 
			for people with diabetes mellitus. The group meets the third Friday 
			of the month, on November 16 from 11am-12pm and meets in the 
			Wombacher Room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. This 
			month’s timely topic is “Planning for the Holidays”. Attendees are 
			encouraged to bring their favorite recipes! 
 
			
			 
			The monthly casual group meetings are free and do not require 
			registration. A registered dietitian and certified diabetes 
			educator, leads the group.
 
			“The event is a great opportunity to get practical and timely 
			information about how to manage your diabetes,” DiPasquale said. 
			Family members, friends, and caregivers are also welcome to attend.

Also this weekend on Sunday, November 18, there will be another free event, the 
“Diabetes Expo”, held at the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln from 12:30pm-3pm. A 
panel of experts will be on hand to present a variety of topics including meal 
planning, high and low blood sugar treatment, glucose monitoring and using your
